dream of a bridge

so this is a work inspired by a photo my friend took in rome :)
The effect the lights have on the whole scene is amazing, almost like a dream.

I loved painting this picture for pickens. He loves music so I thought about the treble clef as I was drawing a tree. This friend of mine is one of the most authentic and genuine guy i know. happy birthday to pickens :)

These drops are surrounded by the complexity of patterns. The organic shapes and lines show how freeing water can be.

Washed

This is one piece that i was unsatisfed with even up to the end until I added just a few more lines. The way the patterns were being washed over each other really drew me into this piece.

This is horrible photo but it demonstrates the movement of waves through a repetition of patterns and marks.

This first piece reminds me of the layers of water that come through the shore of a beach.
