These drops are surrounded by the complexity of patterns. The organic shapes and lines show how freeing water can be.

Washed

This is one piece that i was unsatisfed with even up to the end until I added just a few more lines. The way the patterns were being washed over each other really drew me into this piece.

This is horrible photo but it demonstrates the movement of waves through a repetition of patterns and marks.

This is the movement of water gradually falling

This piece is meant to show how water continues to cause change and transformation in one cycle.

This first piece reminds me of the layers of water that come through the shore of a beach.

Art Education is...:: April 2007 :: Acrylic and Sharpie on Illustration Board

My poster project for my tech art class. Art Education is I believe an opportunity to peel off each layer in a student who possesses so much more than he or she may show. Each person creates different marks and has their own personal voice. To open up a way for them to show their mark just as a flower blossoms is the role of art education.
