Lines that never quite read each other well
because of bubbles filled with idealistic dreams and expectations
only to cover gifts of solid gold as they were opened one by one
droplets filled with patience, peace, rawness, and trust
only to be overwhelmed by changing waves of water
transparent and reflective water, which no one could see through.
